Ahhhh beautiful, witty, colourful Dodo Pad, you are the diary of my dreams! In my efforts to find the best 'all rounder' diary, I decided to try out the Dodo Pad. I had initially heard about it from a friend of mine who had a diary insert for her Filofax. Anything Filofax related has to be a winner, right? I was delighted to see that there is an impressive range of items available from Dodo Towers. Here we have the 2014 Wall Pad and the 2013/14 Mini Acad-Pad for review.
2014 Dodo Wall Pad:

The Dodo calendar is described as "A combined diary-doodle-memo-message-engagement-organiser-calendar-book" and that is EXACTLY what it is. It measures 7.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches tall (so slightly larger than and A4 sheet of paper) and has ample space for all of your organisational needs! It also features:
- A week per page
- Five columns for family or tasks
- A notes page per week
- Unique quotes, jokes and illustrations through-out
- High quality, fountain pen friendly paper
- Year over view
- Forward Planner
- Blank appendix/note pages at the back
- Lined note/info pages at the back
- A stuff 'n' store pouch
The Dodo Wall Pad Calendar is available here for £12.99. Every page is filled with clever witty phrases and jokes as well as beautiful illustrations to tie in with each weekly theme. Each week has a different colour, different theme, different doodle making it almost impossible not to skip through it all and look at every page, but the surprise each week is half the charm of this wonderful little creation. I also love that as well as having the hanging hook there are punched holes in the calender, so depending on the available wall space it can be hung full scale with the notes page on show (19 inches long) or half scale with only the calender page on show (9.5 inches long).

2013/14 Mini Dodo Acad-Pad:

In true Dodo style, the Acad-Pad is every bit as witty and beautifully designed as the Wall Pad. It is described as "A combined mid-year diary-doodle-memo-message-engagement-calendar-book for students and scholars", basically it's a pocket sized mid year diary that measures marginally bigger than 4x5 inches. It also features:
- A week per page
- Five columns for tasks/subjects or people
- A notes page per week
- Unique quotes, jokes and illustrations through-out
- High quality, fountain pen friendly paper
- Timetable plan
- Year over view
- Forward Planner
- Blank appendix/note page at the back
- Lined note/info page at the back
- Serrated corners to easily find the current week
The Acad-Pad is available here for £8.99. Just like the Calendar, the Acad pad is filled to the brim with beautiful artwork, quirky humour and colourful pages. The diary starts in August, just in time for the new academic year, and ends in the August of the following year. I absolutely love mid year diaries, I can fill it up with the girls times and activities for the new school year and can keep all the details for class teachers, trip costs and excursion dates, without having to score out the previous school year details!

Overall I am astounded by the quality and choices available from Dodo Towers. All for such reasonable prices. Each pad comes in many variations sizes and styles, from desk diary to loose leaf diary for ring binders. I love everything from the paper quality, to the sheer amount of unique detail gone into each and every week. I love that it is a week per page and I especially love that the columns are left blank so can be changed to suit any life style, from busy family to single student to crazy cat lady who needs tabs for her pets! It's so versatile and that's what makes it perfect for everyone! To find out more from Dodo Towers, here are their links:
