Review - Suteki Mega Stencil Station

This year we have really been enjoying reviewing some of the exciting new products from Flair's new cool create range. (You can find my previous Cool Create posts here) Suteki Mega Stencil Station is a fun, unique way of creating art. This set includes everything needed to create and display your pieces of art for everyone to admire!

Suteki features:
  • 1 golden ninja stamper
  • An extra sponge head
  • Mega stencil station
  • 9 stencils
  • 4 acrylic paints
  • 3 card sheets
  • 3 colourful frames
  • An instruction booklet

Suteki is a great little set and is available to buy here for £14.99. My girls and I made one picture each and it was so simple to create. By using the ninja stamper and cleverly layering the stencils, each image ends up colourful and unique. The extra sponge is very handy, though we didn't need it as it had dried every time by the time the paint was able to be layered again. The mega stencil station is a great size for fitting the card, stencils and paint in. It's made from quite a sturdy plastic so is great for washing and re-using. I love the colourful frames, but they are slightly flimsy, one of connecting posts snapped when we tried to open it to insert our finished painting, and lastly I feel the paint bottles could be slightly bigger. I could already tell there wouldn't be enough to go round when I made the first one so tried watering it down (which is definitely not recommended as the colour spreads too much!)

Overall this has been a great little set that has provided some seriously funky room decor! It is easy to use, the ninja stamp is chunky, so perfect for little hands! And the fact that the stencils, stamp and stencil station can be re-used is a bonus! The Cool Create Club also have a website that your children can join and take part in exciting activities and downloads and also receive monthly newsletters and prizes.
