Stabilo is a brand that everybody knows about! They offer a great range of pens and pencils for writing, colouring and highlighting. Did you know Stabilo also have a range of pens designed just for left or right handed writers? With unique non-slip grip moulds they provide the best comfort and positioning making them perfect for children learning to write. Stabilo sent me a couple different pens to review, the 'EASY original' rollerball pen and the limited edition 'Bionic - Be Wild' rollerball pen.
EASY original pen:
The EASY original pen is the first rollerball pen especially designed for left and right handed people. The EASY original is aimed at school age children learning to write as it provides a non slip grip with finger positioning contours which helps prevent muscle fatigue as well as aiding neater handwriting. You can buy the EASY original rollerball here for £4.99 and is available in five different designs with a choice of three different ink colours - black, blue and red.
My girls are both right handed so have been putting the EASY original to the test for me and I can honestly say I have noticed a huge improvement with my eldest daughter's handwriting. My younger daughter is 5 and struggles to hold the pen properly as it is too chunky for her hand, but then the pen is actually designed for age 6 and over! So she we will have to look into finding one aimed for younger children! My eldest daughter, however is in love with the EASY original and finds it incredibly comfortable to hold. She isn't allowed to use pen at school but I believe there are lead alternatives that we will definitely need to invest in for her pencil case.
Bionic Be Wild Rollerball Pen:

I absolutely love this pen! Its bright colourful design stands out from all of my other pens. And as well as looking nice, the Bionic Be wild is comfortable to hold and writes beautifully. The ink dries quickly so doesn't smudge and so far I haven't come across and feathering or bleeding on the paper that I've used! Top marks for this beautiful pen!
Overall we are really delighted with the quality of our Stabilo pens. The EASY original is perfect for my eight year old daughter and the fact that it can be bought for left handers too makes it a genius product! The Bionic Be Wild is a beautiful limited edition pen and I am delighted to have it in my collection. I will definitely be looking into the Stabilo EASY range in a lot more detail as they EASY original pen has provided comfort and beautiful handwriting!
