Review - Easy Nails, Nail Spa

My eldest daughter was excited to receive the Easy Nails, Nail Spa from Character. Having recently turned a whole decade old, we are well and truly into the girly, pre-teen stage where make-up, music and fashion are huge parts of her life! The Easy Nails, Nail Spa comes with everything needed to create fun, girly nails at the touch of a button. The kit includes:

• The Nail Spa
• 2 Bottles of Nail Polish
• A Tube of Glitter
• 20 Gems
• 3 Washable Brushes
• An Instruction Booklet

Setting up the Nail Spa was really easy to do. Following the instructions, we switched the Spa on to the setup mode before using it. Once this was complete, we got straight onto painting the nails. Abi chose the pink polish and placed her finger in position. Using the two buttons (cleverly incorporated into the design!) it was really simple to dip the brush into the pot and then paint the nail. It did take a LOT of tries to get used to where to position her nails and even when she started getting used to it, it was still pretty messy. We had a lot of nail polish on the skin and they didn't look too great when finished!

However, the novelty of not actually painting them herself outweighed the messy finish, and the polish was easy enough to wash off of the skin. Once we had finished, the bottle was closed up and the brush removed for washing. Such a simple, easy-to-use design. The Easy Nails, Nail Spa is available to buy here for £29.99. The Spa is a great little invention - cute to look at, easy to use and great for pre-teens! Because the results were pretty bad and needed a lot of touch-ups and cleaning we give the Easy Nails, Nail Spa three stars, hopefully with more practice we can get better results. I think this set would make a great little gift and apart from messy fingers, the machine doesn't make any other mess so is great for independent girls with a love for all things pink and glitzy!
