We've been trying out Flair's Make2wear Strand Bands Designer Set recently. My ten year old daughter absolutely loves these fashionable bracelets. This colourful, 62 piece set comes with everything needed to create up to fifteen fun, unique bracelets. The bracelets are so versatile and can be made in so many different ways! We love Flair toys, their impressive range has something for everyone! My youngest daughter is a massive Shopkins fan, where as my eldest daughter prefers the more creative products like Cool Cardz.
The Strand Bands Designer Set is really easy to use. Once you have decided on a design and which colours to use, you simply attach them to the styler and have fun creating your new jewellery! We've tried simple knot designs, twisted knot designs and of course the simple plait! We need to check out youtube for some new designs, my daughter loves being creative with them! The set also comes with an impressive range of beads and charms that can be added to the bracelets, using the clear, picture instructions to show you how to place them. I'm not sure if there are add-on sets available but they would make a great little extra for this set as a lot of the beads and colours shown on the box aren't included with the set!
We really love the results from the fun set and it deserves top marks but I feel it really needs some sort of storage bag/box to come with it as once you remove the strands from the packaging and open the bead bags, you are left with them spilling out of the box constantly (until you finally remember to buy something to store them in!) Perhaps a small drawer integrated into the styler would of been a better design! That said though, once you stop the beads and strands escaping, this kit provides hours of fun and days of stylish wear!
