Although my girls are older now, I still don't like to give them sweets etc unless its an extra special occasion! They both snack on fruit, rice cakes or dried fruit in the afternoons and Fruit Bowl has always been a firm favourite of ours! Fruit Bowl have launched a new snack to their tasty range, Frollipops! These fruit lollies are so tasty and make the perfect sweet treat!
Frollipops are made from concentrated fruit juices and are low in calories (only 46 calories per Frollipop). They have no added sugar and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. One Frollipop even counts towards part of your 5 a day as one serving contains 5 times its own weight in fruit! These fun shaped lollies are currently available in two tasty flavours, strawberry rockets and apple snakes. Frollipops are sold in bags of five individually wrapped lollies and are available for about £2 in the supermarkets.
These tasty treats went down really well. The lollies have a chewy-jelly consistency so are really easy to eat. Great for toddlers! The flavours are strong and naturally sweet. My girls enjoyed both of the flavours but agreed the apple snakes were their favourite! We will definitely be stocking up on these for over the Christmas holidays. Ideal for all on-the-go snacking whilst doing our Christmas shopping or packed lunches! We give these tasty snacks 4 stars, I really hope Fruit Bowl create more flavours of Frollipops, blackcurrant would be lovely!
